Learning Journal
Lately we have been studing pirates. On Thursday some people expressed their dislike towards this topic, I however like it. I think this is something so different and new to explore, and it not only teaches us essential research skills, but it also teaches us to expolre the unexpected. If you don't like pirates in general, take something you do like and find in the pirate lifestyle. You can always find something somewhat interesting in any topic this broad. As for the complaints about marking, try not to worry too much about it. It's the final mark that counts and thats what you should be aiming for, make that your motivation and work towards the end of the semester.

learning journal.
This past week I missed a day, but the day I was there we started something new in Religious Studies that I'm excited about. We're going to read from the Book of the Dead. I'm very excited to explore this new culture and they're religious beliefs and traditions. In english we're still working on Doubt. Journalism we finished the documentary and were talking about the project.
learning journal
This past week we've still been working on Doubt. I'm getting a little tired of it, but I'm starting to really get into the journalism. We're currently watching a documentary about students, and what they're lives are like. Soon we will be starting a project about a turning point in our partner's lives. I'm looking forward to it, but I am also a bit nervous because I haven't done any real writing since first semester of grade 12. Hopefully I'll do alright and this will help me improve in my writing.

Learning journal
This week we statred to look into journalism alot more, and we even had an occasion that had something to do with Journalism. I'm really getting into the subject and I'm very excited to start the interview project. We are also starting to talk in Religious Studies about the play and making connections with religions and what to research when looking into a religion. I'm loving the seperate classes, but I really hope we do Shakespeare in English. Then I'll have the perfect class.

Learning journal
This week we went off to the individual calsses, but we didn't have journalism. I'm very excited to see what we will be doing in Religious Studies, our decesions on important discussion topics was interesting. We all also went to The Playhouse to see the play Doubt for English. It the best part of my week. It was nice to get out, and have my first Downtown experience.

Learning Journal #2
This week we started talking about the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. I'm very excited about this topic, it is something that I feel very strongly about and I can not wait for a few more in people in this world to learn about the injustice that took place during this horrific event. I was, however, slightly disappointed that it was turned into something that focuses more on research techniques. While those are important I do think that this topic is something that should be looked at as itself, and not a way to teach people how to gather information. It is very good though, that information is being gathered. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're learning different research methods, I know this will be useful for the rest of the time that we all spend in University.

Week 1
Over the past couple of weeks I was a bit unsure about the Truth in Society class. I have been very worried about putting my writing out there and allowing people to form their first impression of me from my writing, but I came to realize that I probably wasn’t the only one feeling this way and it was somewhat silly to worry so much. I really appreciate all the writing we’re doing and I’m hoping this helps me to improve on my own writing. I’m really looking forward to occasions and to diving deeper into issues that involve truth and believing.
